United Manufacturing has been in operation for 50 years.  Almost forty of those years under current ownership.

Our crating and pallet division make custom sized shipping containers.  We handle several varieties, completely enclosed crates, (with cleated plywood) to open air shell crates.  Customers can choose to have crates delivered assembled, with top or side loose, or knock down, delivered in parts, (1-base, 2-ends, 2-sides, 1-top).

We offer a wide variety of custom sized pallets, skids and enclosed shipping crates as well.  Some shipping crates can be large enough to drive a car into while other  will be 30' long and only 3" square.  When we say custom we mean there is a large variety in between.

We stock over a million board feet of Southern Yellow Pine.  We also stock over 400,000 sq ft of plywood.

We have provided specialized work for all types of companies that manufacture glass, paper, large cooling towers, communications equipment, all types of delicate parts, aerospace, plastics, plus a number of military and government products.

United Manufacturing will design a custom skid or crate specifically for your needs.  We can use your existing specifications or you can provide us the weight, size and in some cases load distributions and we’ll custom design a custom skid or crate for you.  We are always willing to meet at your facility to look and measure your product if necessary.
